Energy Efficiency Postdoctoral Fellowships (DOE)

TOPIC: The Department of Energy is inviting postdoctoral fellowship applications to support innovative research in energy efficiency and renewable energy at universities, national laboratories, and other research facilities. EERE Fellows will have access to unique education and training opportunities, top scientists in their field, and state-of-the-art projects and equipment. Supported projects are expected to have a significant impact on the economy, the environment, and quality of life.

DEADLINE: June 30.

FUNDS: Applicants will receive a stipend of $65,000 annually for two years, plus health insurance and additional allowances.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have held a Ph.D. for no more than five years from the application deadline or are expected to complete all the doctoral degree requirements by June 30, 2011. Applicants may not select their Ph.D.
advisor as their mentor, and are preferred not to stay at the same university where they received their doctorate. Please see link below for additional requirements.
